Whatcha gonna watch this weekend?
It's the first of October this weekend and I have to get my scary movie line-up ready. I'm going to decorate and bake tonight. Tomorrow though, I think I'm just going to work on pumpkins and make it a werewolf kinda day. The Wolfman, American Werewolf in London, Dog Soldiers, maybe some Underworlds. Oh man. Werewolf madness

I haven't watched the Innocents in a while so it may turn Into a ghostly weekend.

Oh, man, I've already dug into my Halloween line-up. I couldn't wait! Kicked it off with Halloween, earlier in September, then got out a number of others--Ghost Ship, Oldman Dracula, Exorcism of Emily Rose, A Haunting in Connecticut (TV version), From Hell, Black Death, Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil.

I love 'From Hell.' Johnny Depp was awesome in it!
I never got around to watching 'Ghost Ship' in the end.
I'll be taking my Halloween line-up DVDs off the shelf tomorrow & stacking them up on my TV stand! I'll kick-off full swing with mine on Thursday. I'm off for four days from then!

Well don't feel bad, Jack. I only got to two of my scary movies. Started with Hocus Pocus (as it's my go to for pumpkin carving) and then later I watched the Wolfman. Oh and speaking of pumpkins--I carved two from the Nightmare Before Christmas

I love 'Hocus Pocus,' we watch it on the 'big day' itself! "I put a spell on you..."Pumpkin56 wrote:Well don't feel bad, Jack. I only got to two of my scary movies. I ordered 'The Wolfman' the other day. I watched it earlier this year on SKY & liked it, so I thought i'ld purchase it.
Which characters did you carve from 'The Nightmare Before Christmas?' We carve Jack every year!

Re: Whatcha gonna watch this weekend?
I carved Jack up on his little cliff and I'm illuminating it with a black light to give it a purple-blueish glow. I also carved the Harlequin Demon and I think I'm going to use a color changing light in that one. I'll post pictures in a few daysJack Skellington wrote:I love 'Hocus Pocus,' we watch it on the 'big day' itself! "I put a spell on you..."Pumpkin56 wrote:Well don't feel bad, Jack. Re: Whatcha gonna watch this weekend?
So far I've watched "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown". We watch it when we carve the first pumpkins of the year.
I've also watched Halloween H20, The Exorcist, Let Me In, the Funhouse, Waxwork, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and the Howling (my fave werewolf movie). I love Netflix Streaming!

How is Let Me In? Did you see the original? Just curious how they compare because, truth be told, I was unimpressed with Let the Right One In and I never cared to bother with the remake.
