But it will go...
They say that life's a carousel
Spinning fast, you've got to ride it well
The world is full of kings and queens
Who blind your eyes and steal your dreams
Its heaven and hell, oh well

I think I will, too. At least, I think I'll start cleaning them.

Do you roast the seeds? That is one of the delights of the season for me.
I've never tried that Murf.

What's the best way to do it? How long do you have to roast the seeds for. I might try it this year.
I'm so glad Lillith was able to answer you, since I didn't get back on the forum until today--just too busy for the last few days.

It's probably too late now, but the way I roast them is to spray a cookie sheet or broiler pan with cooking spray, spread the seeds out in one layer, and sprinkle with garlic salt or seasoned salt. Then I put them into a slow oven (maybe 225 degrees, but that's Fahrenheit--not sure what that is Celsius). I roast them a long time, maybe two, two & a half hours, stirring them and maybe resalting once every hour. I taste a seed or two each time I stir to check for crispness. Then you can store them in an airtight container for a few days.

I will get one more batch of pumpkin seeds around Thanksgiving. I always save back one pumpkin for my Thanksgiving table. I have a great stencil of a turkey that I carve while my Thanksgiving turkey is baking.

Thanks for this too Murf!

It'll go really quick though Lillith! It seems like only yesterday I was carving last year's Jack O'Lanterns! :D

It's Bonfire Night over here on Saturday night. Depending on what time we get back from 'Disney On Ice' & after having a meal out we might go to a display! I don't think we'll make it to one though I'm sure we'll see lots of great fireworks lighting up the sky though on the drive home! :)
