Dude, I don't think you're getting it. Cuban Cigars are just as illegal as heroin and cocaine in this country. Yeah, you can get them, but if someone turns you in you're going to have to pay the piper.

About.com wrote:"As long as Fidel Castro still lives and Cuba's government is still communist, the Cuban Trade Embargo is expected to remain in effect, despite efforts by some who are trying to build support for lifting the ban. In fact, the embargo was made even more restrictive in 2004. United States citizens cannot legally acquire or consume Cuban cigars, even while traveling abroad. This may be a law that is impractical to enforce, but it is still the law. There are substantial fines and penalties for violators, who are at a higher risk of being nabbed if they attempt to bring Cuban products (especially in large quantities) into the United States."

The penalty for smoking cuban cigars will not be as severe as smoking heroin or cocaine, but your point should be noted as accurate otherwise.

IHAUNT, IF YOU VISIT CUBA YOU MAY BE ABLE TO BUY CIGARS THERE.

YOU SHOULD WRITE TO CUBA AND SEE IF THEY HAVE ANY KIND OF TRAVEL OR VACATION INCENTIVE!!!

IT IS ONLY 90 MILES OFF OF FLORIDA SO MAYBE IF YOU DRIVE TO FLORIDA YOU CAN JUST RENT A BOAT AND GO THERE.

THEY USED TO USE SPEED BOATS TO GO THERE IN MIAMI VICE, SO I DOUBT IT WOULD BE A BIG DEAL.

YOU SHOULD WRITE TO CASTRO'S SON AND SEE. YOU COULD PROBABLY FIND THE ADDRESS ONLINE IN GOOGLE.

Yeah!! I hear they're having vacation specials at Guantanamo Bay. All you have to do is praise Allah and attack a U.S. target and you can stay for free.

They escaped from Cuba back in 1980s to Miami, Florida. Fidel is NOW very, very sick man so his brother, Raulo is the President of the State Counseling of Cuba. He would love to welcome US to visit anytime. Spooky, u don't know nothing. :?
