Oh, post pictures please! Pinhead is one of my absolute favorite horror icons. I watched all 8 of the movies just to watch Doug Bradley play that character. The only Halloween purchase my husband ever vetoed was the life-size animatronic talking Pinhead I saw at Spirit Halloween one year. LOL. It really creeped him out and he was just not going to share his house with it.
We're the farmer's scarecrows
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.

My wife only says no to Freddy, anything else I want to make or buy (within our budget) is okay

My husband doesn't seem to mind Pinhead in general, I've got a Pinhead action figure and Pinhead teddy bear, but the life size talking one was a step too far.

Sunday's shopping spree at iParty and Michaels. The pumpkin is a fake one from Michaels I carved. The skeleton arm broke. I hope it will be fixed soon. The mask will be used for a decoration. I saw it and had to buy it because I thought it was so unsettling. The spider drops from wherever you hang it. I got some old looking paper for a prophecy book prop for my costume. I got a flying paper lamp that kind of works like a hot air balloon. It's not related to Halloween but I got it.

The Michaels pumpkin. My first jack o lantern of the season.

I made some sketches to see what I wanted for the pumpkin. This one ended up being it.

That's a sweet haul, RDM. And your pumpkin looks amazing. I bought some artificial pumpkins a few years ago that I still haven't carved cause I'm afraid of messing them up.

I placed my jack-o-lantern cup next to my laptop, and my pumpkin pail (with a tiny light up black jack-o-lantern inside) next to my computer desk.

I am so glad I found this site, no one at home thinks its time to start getting ready but they are so wrong!!!
I have 4 rooms to decorate so all ideas welcome.
Today I got the fake raven I ordered, I also managed to find a great mirror and some white sheets at the charity shop for next to nothing.
Does anyone know where I can get very cheap rubber snakes?

Last year I quietly put up all the interior decorations while my roommate was sleeping so when she woke up the morning of October 1st she got a nice surprise. Of course, she's a Halloween nut too.

You could slowly start adding decorations through the month of September so when your family gets home every day they could have something new to groan about.

You'll probably have to buy the snakes in bulk to get a decent price. I know Spirit always has bins full of cheap rubber snakes.

I'm also thinking the dollar stores, like family dollar. They may have snakes and creepies fairly
cheap!

soon the yearly decorations come out. I have half of a Halloween gift package purchased. And I listen to Halloweenradio.net. On IMVU I have a developer who I have paid to make me a cemetery style night club with horror movie posters up.
The dark night beckons. Bear us your soul, it whispers. Expose your wicked delights. Join the rest of us on the wind. The dark night beckons and we answer. Sailing into the shadows.
