I propose all members, old and new, submit to a breath test. Whoever has breath that smells like garlic breads is guilty.

Re: New Member Introduction
I just signed on today. Halloween has always been a favorite for mine from early childhood. I grew up in the Midwest amidst chilly autumn evenings, pumpkin patches, fall leaves, and scary movies. It left an indelible mark on me. I now live in Los Angeles in the community of Westwood which was voted the number one place in L.A. for Trick or Treating. I'm also very much into ghost investigating. I've had a fascination with ghosts since I was 10 years old. I had my first experience in 2005. Here is a picture I took with my iPhone yesterday. Glad to be here, and Happy Halloween everyone! ~ James

If you love Halloween, you have found the right place! Welcome, James!
I was just in Arcadia/Monrovia earlier this month. Is Westwood near there?

Thanks for the welcome. No, Westwood is about 40 miles west of Monrovia. Westwood is near Santa Monica and home of UCLA. I do miss Halloween in the Midwest though. There is just something about frost on the pumpkins, fall leaves and that chill in the air that makes it seem more like Halloween.Murfreesboro wrote:If you love Halloween, you have found the right place! Thank you all over your welcome...Duchess, Demonic Duck and Murfreesboro. I love the spirit of Halloween I see here. I always loved the mystery and spookiness of Halloween. The spirit of Halloween isn't just on the 31st for me. I like keeping it alive throughout the year. It is more a way of life. Thanks again for your warm welcome.

Well, since I live over 2,000 miles away from Southern CA, 40 doesn't sound like it's that far from where I was , LOL.Season Of The Witch wrote:Thanks for the welcome. I stayed with a cousin who has the most amazing Day of the Dead collection. Her house is like a museum of it. We can't find that stuff around here at all. So you all do have some seasonal traditions we lack.

Welcome Season of the Witch! Enjoy your stay!

As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...
