Spooky, I am so sorry that happened to you. We've been broken into twice in the 12 years we've lived in this house. The first time all they stole was some change and my swords. The second time, like 10 years later, my husband walked in on the guy and he ran. Fortunately. It's some scary stuff, I'll tell you. I'm so glad you made it through ok.
We're the farmer's scarecrows
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.

Murf, I think it was a step child from a previus mariage. It happened back in 1996 otr 1996 so I don't remember all the detales, but step child or not, that woman should get the death penalty for what she did. Killing a baby to get revenge on some one?? That's pretty cold blooded.

Real monsters don't live in coffins or fly around at night drinking blood. They have regular jobs and live next door to you in many cases. THAT is what makes it scary.

VenHelsing, that's an under statement. Real life monsters are the scariest of them all, because you have no clue they're monsters until they strike, or are caught.

Mmm... sad.

As a law officer, what do you think about that VanHelsing? I know I came real close to shooting my neighbor once when he dropped something over the fence at 2 in the morning and came over without letting me know. Don't know what would have happened if I thought he was making a threatening move at me. Guess you never know until the moment arrives?
