Target is the main retailer for them. They signed an exclusivity contract.

Re: Monster and Halloween Cereals
Cool Bogey, thanx for the info. I'll be sure to check them out. Last time I was there they didn't have any Halloween out yet. Hopefully they'll have some soon. I got the cereals at Walgreens last year, but they haven't shown any signs of carrying it either.
We're the farmer's scarecrows
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.

Re: Monster and Halloween Cereals
I got my first monster cereals of the year today!
My mom saw a worker just opening the boxes to put them out in A&P and got 4 boxes for me - 2 Count Choculas, 1 Fruit Brute, and 1 Fruity Yummy Mummy. When she came home with those I was like AHHHHHH! cuz I've already been searching for a bit in every store. Thank YOUUUU, Mom!
I feel complete again with my Count Chocula, but I'm so happy I finally got to try Fruit Brute and Yummy Mummy cuz I've never had them before; they're pretty good!

I finally tried Yummy Mummy today(having never tried it when it was previously released). It is good. I would say 4th of the four I've tried. Nothing beats Boo Berry!

Yes, I realized I left that key part out. Then I was too lazy to edit or add it in another post.

Re: Monster and Halloween Cereals
Well, unfortunately I'm not seeing any Count Chocula or Frankenberry on the shelvs at my local supermarket, but I did see a few pumpkins out on display. That sort of put a little of the old Halloween spirit into me.
The guy at the Casey's store can't get any of those cerials in because there's a higher demand for them during September and October. (SUPRISE SUPRISE)

Re: Monster and Halloween Cereals
So I opened my box of Frute Brute today. Again good but not as good as the others. I would say the ordering from best to worst would be:
1) Boo Berry
2) Count Chocula
3) Franken Berry
4) Frute Brute
5) Yummy Mummy
1) Boo Berry
2) Count Chocula
3) Franken Berry
4) Frute Brute
5) Yummy Mummy

Re: Monster and Halloween Cereals
So far the only "new" Monster Cereal I can find is Yummy Mummy. Frute Brute is nowhere to be found.
So In order so far I like:
1. Count Chocula
2. Yummy Mummy
3. Boo Berry
4. Frankenberry

I went into my local Kroger for some ice in the late afternoon/early evening and saw a whole end cap just filled with all those different cereals you all are talking about. Then I went back a few hours later for something else, and that same end cap had been decimated! People were buying up those cereals like nobody's business.

Yeah cause a whole bunch of people are going on Ebay & Amazon & selling them for $10 a box..when at stores they seem to be going for $2.50/box. Greedy ppl...I just want to eat some! lol
