Gold Porcelain Halloween Dinnerware
I hope this is the right area to post - I just started up a small business that sells creepy (but fancy) dinnerware, like very ornate gold plates with skull designs. They are very high quality and look gorgeous, take a look if you still need dishes for your Halloween event! I will have more patterns soon (black/gold, pink/gold, aqua/gold, floral plates with skulls etc.)

Those are pretty cool plates! I think if I used them for Christmas the family might have a problem with it. I just need to convince them to have a fancy Halloween dinner!

Lol, yeah, my dad wasn't impressed. I want to do some Christmas ones as well, I am still in the process of designing stuff.

Re: Gold Porcelain Halloween Dinnerware
I think my wife would think they were cool looking, and she'd be a good sport with them around Halloween, but if her family was coming for Thanksgiving or Christmas, we'd have to go more traditional!Hasenbraten wrote:Lol, yeah, my dad wasn't impressed. They are really cool though. Do you have your own kiln to do this?

I gotta think you'd get some good sales if you market to the goth community. Is there still a goth community? Those are really neat BTW.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I'll have to find my target audience. Fun and stressful at the same time:). I still want to get a kiln, right now I have to go to a local place to get them fired.

Yeah, Goth is good for the skull ones. I bet pumpkin ones would do well too. Maybe ghosts.
People would probably use them for decorations too...hmmmm....
I did check out your link, by the way.

They do look good, but my budget won't permit me to buy an entire set of dinnerware that I could basically use only once a year. Perhaps something with a pumpkin would sell better, simply because a person might use it at both Halloween and Thanksgiving, or throughout the autumn. Otherwise, I'd think the Goth community, as others have suggested; there might also be a clientele for specialty pieces, rather than an entire set of dishes.

That makes sense - a friendly pumpkin as one alternative. I think this is a pretty fun idea though!

I use mine year-round because I love them so hard! You don't need to hide them when it's not Halloween (and shouldn't:))!
Not sure about the pumpkins, lol, not quite as edgy:)

Are you able to produce the beetle in gold leaf instead of in color.
That would be cool.

Re: Gold Porcelain Halloween Dinnerware
I collect junk silver plate items. A lot of my time is spent with a cloth and silver polish.
If I can find a small enough photo file I'll post it.
I use the stuff though, they're not just to stare at.
