During some very rare free time this holiday season I am sitting next to a blazing fire, drinking some wine, and watching 'The Next Doctor' (episode 414). A sweet Christmas tale (yeah, I said the dreaded C word) staring my favoritist Doctor and the Governor from the 'Walking Dead'. Allons-Y!!!!

iFrankenstein, the story of how Victor Frankenstein brought Steve Jobs back to life. Ha ha, just kidding. I'm watching 'I, Frankenstein'. 200 years later the creature, named Adam, gets caught up in a battle between angels and demons. So far... meh. Great visuals, some good fight scenes, Yvonne Strahovski... otherwise I prefer the Koontz update on the legend. Now if we could get a good movie based on those books, as opposed to the somewhat disappointing TV movie from 2004, that'd be great.

After watching the new 'Cosmos' on Youtube earlier I got nostalgic and started watching the Sagan series on Vimeo (here and here). I'm on episode 6 now. That show was groundbreaking, and still holds up surprisingly well.

Catching up on Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey. Degrasse Tyson actually mentions samhain and halloween at the beginning of episode 8.
