Imagine if all the people that love Halloween came together and created their own Halloween-based town and culture. What do you think it would be like?

Well, it might resemble the Halloween town in Nightmare before Christmas. . . .

I love Hocus Pocus too! At our house we think of it as the perfect Halloween movie. It has all the motifs, it's funny, and a wee bit scary for the young ones, but great for the whole family.

I have a feeling I'd be the local crazy cat lady, and everyone would think I'm a witch.

But maybe I am...? :D

I think it'd be awesome.

I know, I think we've had this conversation before, . Oh well, different strokes for different folks.

I do think most people like it, because you can always buy it any time of year, and its price is slightly higher than that of other older movies.

I don't care for the movie either, Spooky. I don't think I have ever seen the whole thing. I lost interest in the first few minutes. Besides I am not so sure some of the cast is really acting.

You never heard of Hocus Pocus? A Disney film set at Halloween in Salem. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy play a trio of sister witches. I want to say it came out around 1993? For some reason it has always been divisive on this forum. It's aimed at kids, of course. Trivia: The kid who plays the colonial boy in the beginning, who gets hexed into becoming the cat, is now one of the secondary players on NCIS.

I think I might have seen parts of Hocus Pocus but I guess I'll have to sit down and watch it sometime.

Halloweentown sounds interesting...but considering it's a Disney channel original film...it might be corny.

Never was a big fan of Sarah Jessica Parker, maybe that had something to do with it. I always thought she looked like a witch though.
