Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

.
Hmmmm... lamb. Remind me of joke.
-------------------------------------
Cowboy: ‘That your dog?’
Indian: ‘Yep.’
Cowboy: ‘Mind if I speak to him?’
Indian: ‘Dog no talk.’
Cowboy: ‘Hey dog, how’s it going?’
Dog: ‘Doin’ all right.’
Indian: (Look of shock!)
Cowboy: ‘Is this Indian your owner?’ (Pointing at the Indian)
Dog: ‘Yep.’
Cowboy: ‘How’s he treating you?’
Dog: ‘Real good. He walks me twice a day, feeds me great food and takes me to the lake once a week to play.’
Indian: (Look of total disbelief)
Cowboy: ‘Mind if I talk to your horse?’
Indian: ‘Horse no talk.’
Cowboy: ‘Hey horse, how’s it going?’
Horse: ‘Cool.’
Indian: (Extreme look of shock!)
Cowboy: ‘Is this your owner?’ (Pointing to the Indian)
Horse: ‘Yep.’
Cowboy: ‘How’s he treating you?’
Horse: ‘Pretty good, thanks for asking, he rides me, brushes me down often and keeps me in a lean-to to protect me from the weather.’
Indian: (Look of total amazement)
Cowboy: ‘Mind if I talk to your sheep?’
Indian: ‘Sheep lie.’

Gyros meat is a mixture of beef, pork and lamb, and it's mixed with various seasonings. It's the tastyiest meat that I can think of, and it's not just good in a sanwich. It makes for a great meal.
I love good Greek quisine, so I guess that's part of the reason why I like Gyros so much.

Re: Favorite Fast Food
Well, today I had lunch... it was New York hot sausage and it included chili, onions and mustard. Delicious!
It's little spicy!

That actualy sounds a bit too spicy for me at this point, but back in my 'hay day,' I bet that would have been good. I also make my own chili, but I don't like it to burn like the fires of hell.

To each his own. I can't stand it when it burns like hell fire. My oldest brother loves his food to be as hot as it can possibly be. That not only includes chili, but also some chinese entres that are unbelievable. He ordered this entre from a Chinese restaurant that hae peanuts in it. I could not believe it. Those peanuts were like eating molten lava. I also tried a few other entres, and I jsut couldn't eat any f it. I had heart burn for LITTERALY 2 days. Right now, with my gastric bypass and my ulcer, hellishly hot foods are out of the question.

Re: Favorite Fast Food
When your talking about food being served at a hot temperature because it's just cooked, yes. That's the way I like it, especialy entres like cheese burgers and pizza but if you are speaking in terms of tons and tons of chili peppers and sports peppers and some of these extreamly hot seasonings, FORGET IT!! My pouch and my gut just can't handle it right now.
Now I do love Horse Raddish and Horse Raddish Sauce, but that does not burn and burn and burn like some of these chili peppers you see served at various restaurants.

My favorite fast food would be McDonald's. That's where my wife and I eat the most. We love the food there and it's very affordable too.

I think Chick Fillet (which I can never spell right) may be my favorite, though McDonald's fries are hard to beat. I also love gyros, which the guys on this thread were discussing several years ago. However, I don't get them very often. And of course I love a good pizza, especially veges with lots of mushrooms.

Re: Favorite Fast Food
I'm a fan of Taco Bell to be honest. Although I really like McDonald's breakfast menu. I was really happy when they started doing All Day breakfast. Too bad it doesn't include the Sausage Mcmuffin with Egg. That's my favorite along with the Bacon Bagel sandwich.
