Oh crikey! I disappear for a month or so and everything's changed again. I think Halloween.com is having issues. His rind is getting mushy and his stem is wilting, sure sign of a mid-life crisis... for a pumpkin!

It's been a long hot summer. So da... dang* hard to get into the Halloween spirit when it's constantly hovering around 100°. *Are we allowed to swear here? Because I really want to swear.

I've been pretty much in-communicado since the fire of 2015, but am finally getting everything dialed in at my new house. The fire, nasty health issues and family emergencies have pretty much put a crimp in the bank account as well as my time. I've been retired from my job since June of 2014, and it's been the most stressful time of my life up until now ....knock wood...

I'm afraid I didn't receive your package, as I moved 5 times since my house in Dwight burned to the ground in 2015. I am FINALY living in a nice place in Streator Ill. I certainly appreciate the thought, and if it should find it's way to where I am now, I will certainly post to the site.

At any rate, it's been along and hard journey over the past 4 years, but everything is turning out okay.

Mike, I'm sure Halloween.com can clue you into your password. If not, try 1234. That's what I use, "same as on my luggage". <--- name the movie reference.

I'll give that "1234" thing a try some time. Meanwhile I think I'll stick with Pumpkin_Head for a while After all, it was one of my favorite 1980s horror movies. That movie featured one of the creepiest looking pumpkin patches I ever saw. And that old witch who resurrected "Pumpkin Head" was very much the epitome of the traditional Halloween witch.
