Re: Thrift and Yard Sale Shopping
That's a good one, Headless!
Oh I speculate about a lot of stuff. I'm quite a philosophical thinker. I think about what could possibly happen, what if's, and all kinds of scenarios. My beliefs are pieced together over the years based off different perspectives and ways of looking at things, and I go with what makes the most sense. Plus I'll watch videos on occasion about that sort of thing. There was a whole video on type 7 civilizations that was really interesting.
I think aliens could exist, the same with ghosts.
Not too sure about that hairy ape-like guy that lives in the woods though. But I try to keep an open mind! That one I'm actually more skeptical of, but I guess anything's possible.
Wouldn't it be something if the Bible actually predicted the future instead of telling about the past?
It's very well possible the flood destroyed the dinosaurs. Scientists say it was an asteroid. Chicxulub Crater off the coast of Mexico is said to be a remnant of the asteroid collision. But we also have evidence of flooding in different areas. Was the flood really a global thing, or localized? Back in Biblical times the known world was much smaller than the world we know today.
Or maybe it was just aliens.
Tsoukalos does raise some good questions. But that doesn't mean all conclusive evidence points to extraterrestrials. But that crazy hair, dude!
Perhaps we were just too much to deal with and up and left.
Either way, I have a hard time believing we're alone in the universe, regardless of how we got here. I hope we find out the answer one day. But it would be lame if all we found was bacteria on another planet or something. But it's still life though so...
Some scientists think life could be on Europa. And then there's a hypothesis that methane-based lifeforms could exist on Saturn's moon of Titan. All interesting speculations.

Have you ever watched 'Duck Dynasty"?
Have you ever watched 'Duck Dynasty"?
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

I haven't seen it, but I know what you're talking about and what you're alluding to.
