Haunted Hayride

Post by mamawof2 » Wed Oct 03, 2007 6:48 pm

Do any of yall ever go on haunted hayrides around your area? Here we have one that takes you through a hollow that is pitch black with all kinds of uglies jumping out at you. They use to get in the wagon with you, for example one year I was fighting off Jason and his chainsaw while my friend was being dragged off by a werewolf. Now, do to some people complaining they aren't allowed to get on the wagon or touch you anymore. Some people tick me off. Anyway, the corn maze is this weekend and I think next weekend we are doing the hayride. I was just wondering if anyone else gets into this stuff as much as I do. That is one of the reasons I LOVE this time of year.

That sounds like so much fun! Sadly we don't have those here.. at least, they don't in my area - but I would love to go to one. If I had the land and the resources, I would set up my own Haunted Hayride! But I guess I'll have to wait for someone else to do it.. or maybe it can wait until I make my destined trip to the States for Halloween (when the air fares go down in price!)

There's a good one in Sussex County, NJ, at Heaven Hill Farm: http://www.heavenhillfarm.com/halospok.html

The line was long & my ex-boyfriend & I were the only ones not working there who went in costume, but it was really well done.
Act well your part; there all the honour lies.

Until you visit, here's the Sleepy Hollow Halloween Hayride at Fort Wilderness, Walt Disney World, Florida. Fun!

I WANT to go on on the Sleepy Hollow Hayride. My niece works at Walt Disney World and had never told me about it. She is always trying to get me to come visit. Sounds like this time of year would be the best time to go.
