new stuff

i know that i am in dire straights right now, but i took $12 dollars to michael's and bought some halloween stuff that was 80% off. i got a light up sign for outside for $3 and it had been 19.99 and some pupkin garland for 19 cents, and some cobwebs for 40 cents and one of those doorbell things where you press the button and a spider comes down on top of your finger and 2 flutes with skeleton hands on them and a plastic punch bowl with cups and a ladel, all for $12! can you believe it?! it made me very happy!

I love, love, love that! Seriously, nothing gives me a greater thrill than a clearance rack. And it's so much fun to have brand new stuff at the beginning of a holiday- and you're not even out a dime!

Great haul Kallie! Since I'm up to eleven tubs of Halloween decor I've had to banish myself from the stores until the clearance stuff is all gone.

If I stumble and manage to locate some spooky sale item I'll have to sneak it in the house or risk commitment by the husband and children.

They really don't understand me.

Always feels good when you can buy new stuff cheaper then it could be found at some thrift stores. Everything you bought sounds Fantastic, and for $12, you really hit the big one, good going girl
