We just watched 'Shallow Hal' and I've gotta say that I really liked the music in it. Has anyone ever heard of this 'Ivy' person? Perhaps someone has mentioned her and I've just not been paying attention.
Anyhoo... The ending song rememnded me of 'Telepopmusick's' Breathe so, I listened to that and every time I hear that, for some reason, my psyche always seems to push 'Sneakerpimps' 6 Underground to the front of the line again.
I wanted to share it with you but I'd have to convert the file I have and everything. It's just easier to give you the youtube link...
Sneakerpimps' 6 Underground
Now, I'd never seen them before I watched this and I didn't know just what to expect.
I heard this on the radio and ran out and bought it right away. Unfortunately, nothing esle on the album is like this song and it's also the only tune that was produced by Nellee Hooper, if I remember correctly.
I've always found it rather hypnotic and it puts me in this particular zone that no other song does.
It's kind of like a certain food or desert that isn't like anything else. It's not your favorite by any means but, wow.... just one bite and it takes you to that place no other desert does...... Do you kinda know what I mean.
The video is not what I wanted to share with you but the song itself. Maybe if you've never heard it, minimize the window so you don't get distracted. There it is.... Just wanted to share it with ya!
