i read recently (can't remember where) that it's not a prequal, it's a full on remake. let's pray this is just a rumor.
also being remade are friday the 13th and child's play

coz hollywood has no original ideas so they figure that if they remake already popular movies, they'll be just as good and a quick buck could be made

Guess what??? Rumors saying that Billy Bob Thornton will play as Freddy Krueger, is that true?? I didn't see any information anywhere.

Geez... I thought Wes Craven was going to set both movies THE HILLS HAVE EYES 3 and SCREAM 4... Oh, well... :roll:

Well, I can't believe Billy Bob Thornton will play as Freddy Krueger! But is this movie poster accurate??? I really don't know, and we have to wait and see when it comes out to the theaters. :?

Don't forget the Wolf Man remake.

And yes, they maybe bad, but at least it gets the younger kids into them, and then they explore from there. Then they learn how bad the remakes were :)

That poster looks very fan made to me. I haven't read anything about Thornton actually getting the role yet. I hope he doesn't. It's gonna be hard to fill Robert Englund's shoes as Freddy.

I think that would be great. I would love to see how Freddy Krueger got to be the murderous monster that he is.
