I agree that it is pretty cyclical. More people will show up as summer progresses and hopefully stick around. Welcoming everyone and being pleasant is key.

I see, you have the same problems like our german halloween forum. It´s nearly dead since some month, but some of us are starting now with building props and other things for next season. Maybe the dicussions about that and some tutorials will bring life back in our haunted halls.

I would think that it might attract bugs or rot if it isn't sealed.
