Re: I am planning a small Halloween party.
I hate the cute side of Halloween.
I like the more spooky, scary, horror things.
I do like some of the cute stuff if it is more spooky looking like this scene on a crayon box.
It is stupid looking but the tree on the night sky does look eerie.

I agree, and that's not what I meant when I said everything because I do like the horror, scary, awesome stuff, but the movies just go too far, they freak me out.

Re: I am planning a small Halloween party.
I do not have some of the same interests other teens have. What do you think others would like?
It lookes better than the other zombie movies I saw.
I just watched a trailer for this YouTube. I HAVE TO WATCH THIS!!!!!!!!!!Rising Dead Man wrote:I just wanted to let you know I changed my mind about the movie. If It is not rated R we will watch this movie. If it is rated R I will try and talk my parents into letting me show it for the party. If I cannot watch it I will have to pick something else.

Re: I am planning a small Halloween party.
depends, personally i like to mess around with alot of dry ice at my halloween parties, they seem to get every one interested, also i have a little out door fire place i'm planning to light this year, if you take green sparklers and light them just right they make the fire look green! its really cool. but i wish i could set up some scary movies, but i usaully can't cause my friends hate them, but most of the time we eat, chill out, have a good time, and play a couple of games

Re: I am planning a small Halloween party.
Ok! Thanks! I might read ghost stories and some Halloween fun facts if anyones interested. Show a scary movie. Play some Halloween games if anyone is interested. And just chill out and relax and enjoy the party. This party if it ever happens will be about a week before Halloween. I will invite my siblings and a friend or two maybe.

Re: I am planning a small Halloween party.
sounds fun!
i usually do bobbing for apples. it appeals to pretty much everyone.
and scavenger hunts are fun, too! [especially if you're dressed up and it's not halloween. haha.]
as far as movies go, i'd reccomend Nightmare on Elm Street or maybe One Missed Call, both of which I LOVE [:
have fun with your party and put up pics afterwards! [:

Re: I am planning a small Halloween party.
Try to include something that might catch your audience off guard sometime in the evening (if you can manage). Especially effective if everyone is accounted for.
Have a neighbor knock at the window, make scratching sounds. Close the shower curtain and hide something in the tub that might make a scary sound...this will be unnerving.
Can you hide something edible (but Halloweenish) in the food for them to discover unexpectedly?
Just my 2 cents

I will do something like that. The lights will shut off and I will play a part of my scary sounds tape that has eerie chanting.
