So, you grew up in Illinois? Have you ever been there to any haunted places in IL? If so, then I would like to know. And if you didn't visit any haunted places in IL, then I let you know you can always check out with www.hauntedillinois.com - you will find something cool there! 8)

If you're talking about professionaly done "spook houses," yes. Mt Greenwood Park use to have some pretty scary ones back when I was a kid, but I have not been to one of those lately.

If you are talking about places that are supposedly haunted and have scary stories going around them, I do take my bike up to Bachelors Grove during the month of October and hang out for a bit, but never on the actualy day of Halloween.

I was born & raised in Oregon, moved to California (San Francisco Bay area) 19 years ago and never looked back.

I love San Francisco. I was there in the Summer of 99. I took my bike all the way down old Route 66 to L.A. I was not too crazy about L.A. but it has some fun places to visit, and I did stop at a sea food place along the pacific coast, then I drove up North to San Fran, and had a great time.

I didn't go to Berkly. I did stop for lunch in L.A. but that was pretty much all I really did there. I would like to go and visit L.A. more extensively some other time, but back then I was trying to get to SF.

About the Texas Chainsaw Massacre talk, New England can be creepy too. Has anyone ever read The Vermont Ghost Guide?
