Very nice. I like the traditional Jacks too! Don't you just love sitting in a dim room with only Pumpkin light.
I have never eaten raw pumpkin guts. I love to squish them between my fingers though. We save the seeds and roast them in the oven. MMMMMMmmmmmmm! Yummy!

Well, it jsut so happens that I will be carving a jack o'lantern tonight, and I will be screening "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" right before I screen "Ghost Train." And being the TRADITIONALIST that I am, I am going to use a candle to light it, to boot.

Same here. No fake candles for me. The heat from the candle makes the whole house smell like pumpkin. No better smell in the world.

Amen to that. Nothing beats TRADITION at Halloween, or at every other time of the year for that matter.

i second that amen my friend
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!
