I can't wait either. I agree with you on getting up early to make the most of the day..make it as long as possible and enjoy every minute of it!
no kidding.. we've got an entire day planned and i just can NOT absolutely wait for HALLOWEEN!!
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

.
I got a bit of a dilemma. I was just offered tickets to go see Alice Cooper on Halloween night but I was really looking forward to hanging out at my friends' houses in the suburbs, chasing and scaring trick-or-treaters, then attending a couple parties. It's not that often Halloween ends up on a Saturday but it's just as rare to get a chance to see the Coop on Halloween night.

I may have to toss a coin?

Huge Alice fan here.
That would be a dilemma as well for me.

Toss the coin!

A friend of mine got me into Alice, and I've been a die-hard fan ever since. :)
I've never had the chance to see him live.

I took the tickets, still have to make up my mind on whether to go or give away the tickets. I'm thinking he's a bit older now and probably doesn't put on as good a show as when I saw him last. I just heard the commercial on the radio, they're calling it 'The Theater of Death' tour. Surely he's gonna do Feed My Frankenstein?

Yeah maybe a little older, but I'm sure he's still got that fire in his belly! Hehe

Thanks for posting the song, love that one.

I've heard stories of the shows he used to put on.
Really theatrical.

Ya gotta wonder if there would have been a Marylin Manson without Alice Cooper. There's got to be some influence there.

oh man there is a STRONG influence there.. there's gotta be.. i think manson just kinda took the whole shock rock thing a leap further... i mean a leap. hahaha

i have most of manson's books (actually they're my fiance's.. she's read em) i'll have to ask her if there was any influence.. i'm sure there was though
