The forum in 2006
Are any of the old crew from Halloween 2006 still around? That year's Halloween was especially memorable for me because of the community on this forum.
The steeples are white in the wild moonlight,
And the trees have a silver glare;
Past the chimneys high see the vampires fly,
And the harpies of upper air,
That flutter and laugh and stare.
And the trees have a silver glare;
Past the chimneys high see the vampires fly,
And the harpies of upper air,
That flutter and laugh and stare.

Well..a lot has changed. Many older faces left, many newer faces came in. For better or worse, it's due to change.
The dark night beckons. Bear us your soul, it whispers. Expose your wicked delights. Join the rest of us on the wind. The dark night beckons and we answer. Sailing into the shadows.

I'm a newbie but am very active on this forum its good to meet you!
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Re: The forum in 2006
I'm doing pretty good man, thanks for asking. Lately I have been SWAMPED with work so that's a little stressful and I haven't gotten to enjoy the month or come on the forum as much as I have wanted to this past week. Hopefully things will settle down for me soon. How about you Adrian?adrian wrote:hey MyersFan1 how ya doin bud?

I feel you there, I know exactly what you mean. I constantly feel like I'm missing out on something and that the month is going right by, especially when I'm doing work. I wish I could have October completely off and just enjoy it....
And yeah I'll definitely try to get in the chat sometime tonight. See ya there.

Well, nice to meet you all and good to see some old faces too.
Nice and Autumnal here in the UK at the moment.
Hope you're all feeling it this year.

UK, huh? You can keep Ghoul of the Graves company. Here's a map of where a lot of us are located. How about getting the ball rolling and spreading the Halloween scare over there?Boo wrote:Nice and Autumnal here in the UK at the moment.
