Horror Photography: Joshua Hoffine

A friend of mine *just* linked me to this photographer's site. I'm already a fan.

I LOVE the first image with the girl holding the baby in the kitchen and the crazy knife-wielding fellow 'round the corner. I couldn't help but think to myself-- now THAT would be an AWESOME scene in a haunted house.

Enjoy!

i thried to pick a favorite but really couldn't.. i liked em all
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Pretty good. I liked the one with the freaky women holding the baby, and the one with the wolf and the baby.

Some of those are just disturbing. Is this guy a pedophile?

I do like some of them. Like the one with the arms.

I feel a little disturbed by them, I have kids myself and feel that this is a little too over the edge for me, especially the pics of the infant with the scary looking witch. Not offended, just a little disturbed. Children are precious and should be in beautiful pictures, not evil ones. I do love scary things and my kids love Halloween too but they shouldn't be afraid, they have enough fears the way it is. :shock: Now don't go and be offended by what I'm saying! :P I'm just saying that it isn't for me although others may enjoy it. I went to his blog, and it turns out the kids are his kids, or his nieces or nephews, and they all had a fun time (except for the baby held by the rotting corpse zombie; he wrote that the baby slept through the entire shoot!).
