The WORST thing you ever got in your Trick or Treat Bag

I'd have to say the all-time worst thin i ever got in my TOT bag has to have been a persimmon. i was given it from an aisan woman who live in our neighborhood, my friends all got plums or pears but i got the persimmon. i wasn't sure what it even was at first it looked like a cross between a pumpkin and a tomato an it was too hard to even eat and it tasted really nasty

ew! i have no idea what that is but it sounds gross!

I remember an incident in or around the New Lenox Ill area where a construction worker didn't like all the Trick or Treat ers getting in his way, and there was this one kid who mouthed off to him so this construction worker hocked a huge lugie into the kids bag.

That disgusting incident actualy made the papers, and that construction guy was fired.

All I could think, is if some one had done that to any of my nieces or nephews, I would be livid. I can see, when you are trying to do a job that kids getting in the way can be anoying, and better care should be taken by the parents and by the construction company to keep the construction area seperate so the kids and others can't get in the way of the work, but there's no excuse for ruining a kid's Halloween because you get imconvemienced or because some one dared to say something that you didn't like to hear.

If I reember correctly, this was a concrete worker who did this. Cement workers in my neck of the woods have a reputation for being very unfriendly. I don't know how accurate that rep is, as I've known many who were not that obnoxious, but that's the rep they have none the less.

The worst candy we use to get were those molasses kisses. And there were two kinds: tolerable and awful. They always wound up being the last candy to be eaten, if at all.

Like I said before, LICORICE is probably the worst candy ever invented.

I don't see how licorice even qualifies as something to put in your mouth! It looks more like something straight out of the La Brea tarpits! LOL

I like licorice, although I tend to prefer the red licorice over the black. There's even flavored licorice which comes in cherry, apple, grape and others. And not all licorice is made the same; there's good stuff and there's cheap stuff. The best black licorice is the stuff found in those candy pipes. There's also Australian licorice candy which is really good. I've even tasted licorice root, the plant where the flavor comes from. So it's a fair candy to give out, it's just a matter of taste.

My father loved licorice, especialy black. He told stories about a candy shop in his old neighbor hood that made licorice right there in the store. I can't stand it, so he would raid my TOT bag when I was a kid, and take out all of the licorice for himself. Come to think of it, none of us could stand licorice of any flavor, so my Dad would have his own Halloween hey day when we would get home from TOT.

1.Huge Popcorn balls: I remember that they tasted HORRIBLE! They're disgusting!
2.Sour Hard Candy: I like sour candy but I almost threw up! I put an extremely sour hard candy in my mouth.
