.
I went to Wal-Mart today to pick up some candy for the ToTers. Somehow, the candy I
bought the other day mysteriously disappeared. Hmmm?

Traffic on the freeway was backed up about half a mile! All those people were going to the
Wal-Mart! When I got there the candy isle was pretty picked over but I managed to find 5 or 6
bags of good stuff. They were actually out of candy corn. Hurrumph!

Unfortunately, I wasn't home during trick-o-treating (not that I've ever had anyone come to
my house), so now I wonder what I'm gonna do with all that candy?

Here is what you would call a "rough draft" of the reaper I plan to build and place in my yard's cemetery:

The inflatables were from the dollar store and the pumpkins from Wally World:

Hey NeverMore, I'll be happy to take some of that candy off your hands!

Hmmm... that may explain this headache. It couldn't have been the beers and Bloody Marys I drank last night?

I've never spent so little post-Halloween. Spirit was well picked, and so was the Party store (which didn't even have most of its Halloween stuff on sale!!). I found my best bits at Target. Here's my haul:

Image

It's two sets of hands, Spirit Halloween, $5 per pair, and one set of giant zombie hands for my roof creature (next year's big build), an overpriced $15.

And a Sarah Palin mask, Spirit Halloween, $15:

Image

The best thing I got was at target; they had half priced gargoyle statues, each about 12"-16" tall. At $6.50 per, I had to get all they had left. Two of the dragon statues:

And two of the werewolf statues:

Spooky, I am way, way jealous of your foggers. :? And Nevermore, I am way, way, WAY jealous of your candy. Way jealous.

I love the dragon and the werewolf.
I'll be too late by the time I can send someone to look for stuff.
