I hope we're talking about 2 different things. The ones I posted are cardboard and glitter.Pumpkin_Man wrote: The college where I work, has a Culinary Arts program, and every December the students make those German style Candy Houses. I allways am asked to take pictures. Perhaps I'll post one of two of them here when this year's display is out.

I don't think we are, Andy. The candy houses I am refering do actualy have a card board base to stick the candy to, but they are candy houses. Actualy a good percentage of them have no cardboard framing at all. They are made out of ginger bread, and decorated with any kind of candy you can imagine. It's really quite a display.

Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I'm going try my hand at making some of these old fashioned German houses. They look simple enough and as I've said before, I like shiny things

Re: How much do you like Christmas?
If you mean the patterns that yo can print out then yes. I have a REALLY simple one that I'm going to try out this weekend. If I get into it I might even make my own papier mache boards to cut the pieces out of (but I probably won'twitchy wrote:I'm going try my hand at making some of these old fashioned German houses.
