I know the Halloween spirit is ever-so-slowly creeping back into my mind, but how about you guys? Are you in the spirit?

Except that, ironically, the temps have gone up and the fog hasn't been around for a few days so I'm also happy it's finally summer.

Getting there. With my pumpkins growing, and seeing Halloween stuff in catalogs...it'll be here again before we know it!

Halloween spirit?

I could feel a warmth flowing through my body and I could feel Halloween has become a night of rollicking fun, superstitious spells, and eerie games which people take only half seriously, its beginnings were quite otherwise.

i feel the spirit. i got a halloween costume magazine in the mail a few days ago. it got me thinking about all things halloween.

I don't think there's any time that I don't feel at least a little Halloween spirit. After all, I do live in a 100 year old house that's perported to be haunted, but I too am glad it's Summer, and am going to enjoy my motorcycle, trips to the beach and my Birthday Barbecue next Saturday.

I got this cute mini pumpkin kit today. It is a pumpkin flower pot and it came with seeds and soil to grow those cute minis in your kitchen.

Planted them. Can't wait to see if they grow.

And, I started going thru my indoor decorations yesterday. I am cleaning up, and fixing what is broken. I am starting to get the bug!

our local discount mart already has halloween decorations out, so YES

MINI PUMPKIN KIT???? Where'd you get that? I am in the Halloween spirit, but I've seen nothing in any stores and gotten no catalogs.

Oh well. Looking forward to putting the fall decorations up in 44 days and then a month after that adding the Halloween stuff! Woo hoo!

Big Lots! Yesterday! They are so cute. They were $10. I hope they grow, but even if they don't I have a cute pumpkin shaped flower pot.
