i'm buying the DVD tonight!! i've got to have it!! it'll be a new tradition for my home :)
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame

My husband and I watched it a couple days ago. And I cannot believe I've lived this long without it!

A-MAZ-ING!

Just......classic! There's not much more I can say...I'm so glad there's a newer Halloween movie that's actually about Halloween. I loved it!

It's now #4 on the amazon hot new releases list, only Bones, the Proposal and the BluRay of snow White are selling better.

Pretty darn good for a movie that didn't get a general release.

my trick r treat dvd arrived last night and i just finished watching :D LOVED IT :shock: great storyline, wonderfully cyclical and pagan :arrow: SAMhain :lol:

Ok, in the latest interview in the issue of Rue Morgue magazine, the "Trick 'R Treat" director said that he doesn't even really know why they never released it. At least we got it on DVD. :D

Well, I believe in a few years I'm sure this will start showing up at indie theaters around Halloween. :?

My only regret? I didn't get to see this fantastic movie at the IMAX theater.

Had a blast at our viewing party last night. At least, I think I did. Have massive hangover right now. That usually means I had a good time.

I liked it, it's like Crash meets Creepshow, not gory and not much gratuitous nudity. I liked it. Maybe I'll watch it again before I take it back.....not sure if it's library worthy but maybe....

Well, TRT is my new favorite Halloween movie! Who cares why Warner Brothers decided to release it, but I'm just glad they did it! So, if it's not so gorey that you have to be afraid of... yet spooky enough to be perfect for Halloween! :D

Anyways, time will tell... :twisted:
