Let us not forget about "Little Halloween," which IMHO comes around every time the 13th of the month falls on a Friday. This year, we only get one Frday the 13th. August 13th.

Yer killin, me Mike, "IMHO".
Bright orange text the size of a billboard hardly qualifies as "H".

Perhaps not, but I like the Halloween look to it, and I like to draw attention to myself. (narf narf) But I am also not the most patient person either when it comes to waiting for Halloween, all though I do enjoy the other seasons. I like to celebrate "Little Halloween" every time the 13th of the month falls on a Friday. I will be on Flexible Summer Hours until the 15th of August, so that means that I will be off on all the fridays from may 21 through August 15th off. That means that I will be off on the only "Little Halloween" of 2010, which means that I might even go on a 'haunted road trip."

Yes I do. I have to work 10 hours a day Monday through Thursday, but it's well worth it. I get 3 day weekends to take bike trips or just hang out in the "pumpkin patch," and when there's a holiday, I get 4 days off. So I get the best of both worlds. I remain on full time status at my job, and all of my Summer weekends are 3 days long.

My envy knows no bounds!
I had a 4-10's schedule a while back. On Mon & Tue, off Wed, On Thu & Fri with Sat & Sun off. It was awesome.

It is really nice in the Summer time havig that extra day off without it costing me pay, or my full time status. I am trualy very lucky as far as employment is concerned.

I'm glad that I don't have a set schedule, I basically work when I want to. The only thing that sucks is when I get a call and they want it done now, I go! It's money though so I never turn a job down.

That's part of the reason why I'm opening up my own phot studio. You wouldn't believe what some of those freelance photographers are making in the way of money, and some of them are mediocre at best. If I can get the word out, I just might be able to make a pretty good suppliment to my salary, and in later years my pension. I might even be able to brind down a pretty heafty payday if all goes well.

Oh admit it, Mike! The only reason you're opening your own studio is so you can take lots of glamor photos of hot lingerie models....

I'll volunteer to hold their lingerie and carry it for them...they get so heavy after a long day of shooting.

Okay, but I get the job of smeaing the oil all over their bodies. But then I would have to wash the oil frim my hands before I could handle the camera.
But at any rate, I do hope to make a pretty good buck if all goes well, and this blasted recession doesn't get any worse.
