My birthday falls in October and we frequently had Halloween themed parties when I was younger. Now that I have a son born in October as well, I get to pass along the tradition.
I hope the following is of value to the readers here. The company I work for makes Halloween Cards which are customizable as birthday party invitations. I already have mine planned:)

My birthday is October 26, and I don't remember ever having a Halloween/Birthday party, but I am having one this year for my 25th birthday... especially since my birthday falls on a weekend. I am having mine the day before my birthday... and the weekend before Halloween.

My oldest and best friend was born at 12:03 am on November 1st, just 3 minutes after Halloween ended. I allways rib him about it, and accuse him of actualy being born on Halloween.
