Evilmel, I'm So sorry to hear about the very difficult times you've been going through.

I feel just aweful hearing you didn't get to take anything, that's just not right on so many levels, but I'm happy for you that you got your seasonal stuff. I could totally understand not being in the Halloween spirit, and your trip to the store brought tears to my eyes. I hope you get an absolutely wonderful gift package that will help cheer you up a little. I'm so glad you posted though and let us know what's up, it's scary not knowing what's happened to members, so thank-you for posting even though you haven't felt up to it. I hope you'll come back more often and post, maybe we could do something to help boost your spirits

Do you have a window ledge or small balcony to put a pumpkin? Oh Evilmel, I really feel for you and I hope this new journey in life turns out to be a postive one for you. I really wish you much comfort and will send prayer and good wishes your way. Here's an angel for you ^i^

Hey, Mel...divorce is rough on Halloween celebrations and other neat things.
I remember when I seperated from the ex..I would have to AIR LIFT halloween in...brought over everything for the kids, including a couple of extra costumes for the kids friends if they were there, and had it all packed up by Midnight....
Something you might want to think about scoring are some cardboard cuts outs...those cool almost lifesize color pics of Dracula, Elvira, Frankenstein...I got mine FREE from the local video stores....including one I stuck on my balconey from BLOCKBUSTER...that had a skelton holding up a sign that I changed from HAVE A BLOCKBUSTER HALLOWEEN...to HAVE A HAPPY HALLOWEEN...they are nice and thin and take up zero room..also got some Universal monster transparencies..from Burger King that featured Frankenstein that I put up every year..
The cool thing is that you can watch ALL the Halloween movies that THEY never liked as much as you like now...
the pumpkin idea is way cool, I like that...
In the words of Jackson Browne...Hold on, Hold out...

Thanks guys.
I bought my first pumpkin on Sunday and I'm really excited about it.
Here's a photo of it on my scooter:
I am also beginning to listen to all the Halloween music I gathered for a party I threw last year...that's helping a bit.
I should go get some scene setters as I can just attach them to the wall and they never take up space (knowing me I'd leave them up all year round, hah hah).
I watched tons of horror movies without my spouse before and I will continue to do so! hah hah. Now I can watch them whenever I want to though.

Oh Mel, I'm so sorry for your troubles. It's grataifying to see you are still finding some Halloween spirit - you go girl! I think sneaking pumpkins on others is a wonderful way to share something you enjoy doing without crowding your new place. Have to say, your pink scooter is cute as hell!

Maybe if you'll fit in that leather trunk of her's.
But it's nice to see that someone is making headway into Halloween.
That pumpkin is definatly beggin for a way cool carving.
Might I be as so bold as to suggest....
an original work of mine?
I call it "Vincent".

Hey EvilMel, First off I love your scooter, very cool! Glad to see you bought yourself a pumpkin, and glad to hear your listening to your Halloween Music. Nothing better for soothing the soul then some great Halloween tunes
Hey just a thought here. Seeing how you're going to buy some scene setters, have you thought about putting any on your scooter? Just thought maybe one or two really small ones would look really cool, even if it's say only one on that Compartment door in front of your seat, if anywhere else would be illegal? Just a thought anyways.

HOLY <deleted>! That's a great idea. I've been needing to tone down the pink a whole ton anyways.
Thanks for the support you guys. I love my Halloween.com fellow Halloweiners.
