Laurie Strode, Law P - thanks guys, you are so sweet :) I feel a little more cheery already. I love this place.

Royal Mail - our postal service provider - has gone on strike over pensions, pay and working hour issues. They have a very strong Union that isn't backing down, so the strike was for a whole WEEK - yep, no post being taken or delivered to anyone unless by private courier - and they have come off of strike today, only to resume striking next week FOR ANOTHER WEEK! I'm tearing my hair out because I have some things arriving from overseas and I'm so worried they will get lost and I have some Halloween gifts that have been sent out that will probably never reach their destination, especially not in time for Halloween. Royal Mail - to you I say; Bah! BAH!

If he touches my M&Ms, he will die.

I got my first bit of post today for over a week and it was a bank statement. Yay. *sigh* I'm hoping and praying my packages aren't lost in the ether somewhere.

Stupid Royal Mail >_<

I am feeling stir crazy being stuck in the house for so long, so I'm going to venture out and get some cider. I've got a hankerin' for some appley goodness. I would also like something seasonal to eat but.. I don't know what. It will come to me when I'm walking back from the Supermarket lol

Magickbean, how about a nice hot bowl of veggie soup with big herbed croutons??? Does your supermarket offer hot, pre-prepared soups/stews?

Boy, don't I feel like the odd man out... :?

I am having a spectacular October, wearing my favorite Halloween scrubs to work, working on the decorations for the Potter Party, watching scary movies (by the way stay away from 1408, it sucked :P ), got the JOL faces on the Magic Pumpkin, weather's good (if a little hot) so I'm riding around with the top down and the NBC soundtrack blastin'....

I almost feel bad about feelin' good. Almost.

So here I go, sending good vibes to all: vibes colored orange and black, vibes dressed like Jason Voorhees, vibes of TOTers ringing nonstop, vibes of crisp air and colorful piles of leaves, vibes of wellness and wellbeing, vibes of full moons and shivery feelings, vibes of friendship and love....

To all my Halloween.com buddies:

May the spirit of Halloween find a place in your heart, and until that happens, you can borrow mine!!

MHooch, my husband was just put on BP meds and I was wondering what type of side effects may occur? He hasn't been on them long enough (few days) for me to tell. Do I need to build a panic room?

Sad cases from those I love the most. I'm hitting a wall myself. Not that I HAVEN'T done anything. I've done a lot with what little I have, (including a small apaertment.) I started way early, back in August. The place is a mess, but I have to keep things going. If you haven't even gotten your things down from the attic, or up from the basement, it's time to at least get those boxes out where you can see them. Open one up and sort through the contents.

Before you know it, you have been grabbed by the Halloween spirit. Thing is, just "start", even if you don't feel like it. Put on some music and dig in. I swear you'll find the energy, you'll get the things up and still have time to do everything. Give yourself 1 or 2 hours a day. If you can't do that, then put up at least three items a day. You'll build up steam.

(Wolfie raises his coffee cup...)
Three SCREAMS for Halloween!

Wolfie sits back and thinks...

{If I agree, could that be percieved as "male chauvinistic"? Even though I agree? But if I sit and be quiet, would that be percieved as a "disagreement", and possibly insulting?

Holy cow! I think they can read my THOUGHTS!

I better click "submit"...}
