YAY one more day of September down my outdoor decor starts to go up today

I know it's a little early, but I just couldn't help breaking out a few decorations, especially the ones I purchased after Halloween last year but hadn't opened yet. I'd forgotten just how much stuff I bought.

OMG its getting SO CLOSE!!

Pretty soon I'll be hand-drawing some Halloween pictures and decorating my bedroom with creepy masks and Glow-in-the-dark decorations since Mum doesn't like me decorating the house with Halloween masks and stuff.

Nope, she thinks it's an American holiday and she doesn't 'believe' in it. She isn't religious by any means but she just doesn't like Halloween. I want to somehow convert her to a Halloweenie

tell her how much you're into it and how you believe that you guys could possibly create many non replaceable memories with the holiday.. have you tried envolving her as much as you can?

I have, but I'll still try and convert her.

She lets my brother and I have fun with the holiday, she's never celebrated it so I doubt she will start. She says I'm getting too old for it, I'm 15, but I love the holiday and I'm sure I always will

Luckily my brother is like 6 years younger than me so when he wants to go ToTing I can always take him if she doesn't want to.

Hey, have you tried bribing your Mum with candy? Lots of people first get into Halloween because of the candy. Or try showing her some adorable skulls. Adorable skulls and candy are the two leading causes of Halloweenitis. Seven out of ten doctors and nine out of ten morticians agree.
