Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

I'm going to have another go at the Dark Fairy costume. I went as one last year to a party, but it was very last minute and half-assed This year I'm actually going to put some effort into it.

My six year old daughter wants to be a princess...with vampire teeth.
She's truly her fathers girl.

Evil clowns are the most scariest for sure. No idea what I am going to be- so busy planning the party for 100 haven't gotten to my own costume yet! Here are some ideas about what's hot this year:

At the last 6 parties I have done Dorothy, Bride of Frankenstein, Wonder Woman, Morticia Addams, Madonna (Material Girl version- Boy Toy belt buckle oh yeah), the Evil Queen from Snow White. Any ideas?

Well, this year it's harder for me to decide what I want to wear a costume... I was like, Think! Think! Think! I'm not really sure if I wanted to be Captain Spaulding, but I might want to be Necromancer. If I do so, I will post a pic here after Halloween is over.

I'm thinking about being a pirate this year. I didn't get to do anything last year, and usually I just wear my cat ears and make something up, like one year I was a kitty biker chick. XD;

I watched 102 Dalmation the other day and was inspired....so pretty much this year i was thinking Cruella De Vil.....because, you know, she's my hero and stuff.....?

I doubt that i could find a coat that would be even slightly as amazing as what she had.

I am still thinking. I was thinking bearded lady but I live in the south and that may go unnoticed.
Last year my daughter and I were witches. I really liked the tradition of that. I may try to build on last year's idea.

The more I think about it, I'm not sure about the flapper idea, it just doesn't seem right. Last year I was a valkyrie and I knew it was the perfect costume. This is so frustrating!!!! A friend of mine recommended that my fiance where a white track suit with a 00 on it and a white swim cap and be on the fallopian swim team. I could then go as the coach. He didn't appreciate it . . .

I don't think we're going to have a theme here at work this year, so I figured that I'll dress up as Abby from NCIS (or is it NCSI???). There are several people here at work that tell me I look like her, so I'll be all gothed out.

It looks like I am going tp pop a pair of fangs into my mouth and greet the TOTers at the door as a vampire. I don't know if I can afford a Dracula costume, or can find one in my size, so I'll just put in fangs.

A princess with vampire fangs - now THAT'S my kinda girl!

I'm thinking that because of money issues this year, I'll probably go with a pair of vampire fangs and be done with it this year. I can't afford anything really elaborate this year. New timing belts and new tires whiped out my vacation fund for thie Summer, and a new blower motor for my furnace/central air conditioning system whiped out a good percentage mf my Halloween budget for this year.

I'll still have plenty of pumpkins and some new decortions, but the costume is going to be a bit on the cheap side this year.

You might think about checking ebay. They have some cheap stuff.

I've decided I'm going as Medusa, because I can't find a cheap enough ensemble to match my husband, who's going as an evil jester. I suppose Medusa and an evil jester would be bff anyway, right? lol I have long, thick curly hair, so I think putting rubber snakes in it will work really well.

I bet that will be an awesome costume, Crimson. Like I said, I'll probably do something more original and elaborate in the way of a costume next year. I've been checking Ebay, and they have tons of costumes, masks and the like, but there's also an issue of size, so this year it's a pair of fangs for me.
