It actualy was a good movie. It had good cinematography, and it was a nice reintroduction to the story of Friday the 13th. I was disappointed, because it was just a remake, and I was hoping fo somrthing different. I thought it was going to be a prequel to the original, and we were going to see how Jason became the killer that he is.

And I liked the original better, but that's because when I saw the original, that was my very first exposure to the story. As far as the movies themselvs go, they are on a par.

Anyone know when this is going to come out on DVD? I havn't seen the remake yet.
I saw the first two because my cousin has the whole box set.
And....don't kill me but...I laughed whenever someone got slaughtered. But then again, I've seen so many horror movies now and considering this is from the 80s, it just didn't scare me.
I liked the series, but...I thought it was more funny than scary. I felt bad for Jason though.
Especially on Freddy Versus Jason (I saw that the other night) and the girl got to see Jason drown and people doing the naughty when they were supposed to be watching the kids. I could sympathise with Jason. In fact, it made me root for him actually.
This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,
A ghost tried to approach me and got leery.
Ask him a question and he vanished in a second...

It comes out next month.
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

Oh cool. Thanks RDM, that'll make my cousin real happy. He loves Jason Voresse (I can't spell)

Just wanted to let everyone knows that Friday The 13th (2009) was out on Blu-Ray DVD yesterday at all video stores. ;)

I already selected to add it to my Netflix online, and it will be on its way anytime. :D
