Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

We have an extended family party and I have to watch the old Dracula, Mummy, Wolfman and Frankenstein sometime in the month of October.

Those movies are almost as important to October as the pumpkin, BUT no Haloween or October is complete without at least one or two 'haunted house' movies. "The Haunting" both versions, is a great Halloween story. "The Changling" is also a terific 'haunted house' story, unfortunately the house burns down at the end of the movie, thus there's no way to make a sequen to it. "The Shining" was pretty good, but I prefer a more traditional "house' type of a story. "The Amityville Horror" had me on the edge of my seat, and had plenty of scary moments. Both the original and remake are both quite good. The remake has a better illusion to the real story. "Poltergeist" was a great story, but the house was too new and modern. If I were in charge of the remake of that flick, I would have it take place in a 100 year or older house.

I have to get a mask every year. I have an entire collection of masks which I have gathered over the years. Sometimes I buy more than one or I get some acessories too. I always have to decorate the inside of the house too because I haven't got any outside decorations. This year my dad's house gets a creepy makeover
