I have done it once at a party but we got permission from the owners of the house before we did. We also helped clean up later. Not true TPing, I know but it was still fun.

Well, I started this topic and I have my answer now. My house was rolled. Not just rolled by a couple of kids, but rolled by seasoned professionals. They rolled every inch of my yard, porch, pool, kids play house, back yard, deck and cars. They must have spent hours. Very messy and not nice!!!

I'd never do that to anyone. Way too expensive for the TPer and the person who has to clean everything it takes away a lot of their time. My aunt had her house egged and it smelt for a while.
I may start the BOO! up in England though because I don't think people do BOO!s in England so starting that tradition could be fun

We've done it in our neighborhood and it really got the neighbors who were new in the neighborhood to get to know each other. It has been fun every year we've done it...

Goul, I'm not totaly familiar with weather patterns in England at this time of the year, or with the area where you live, but if you live in a rural area, you might consider a Halloween Bonfire. We have lots of fun in my neck of the woods with it, and I love chucking pallets and skids into a rip-roaring fire.

Now if you live in a place that is not very conducive to that, then you can have a Halloween party. Do you own a barbecue" Is barbecuing common in England? If so, you can barbecue something, have a dinner and play some music, or watch horror movies.

Barbeques are very popular here, I think so anyway, and there isn't really anywhere to light a bonfire but I will try to start off the BOO! tradition. Also it is pretty cold this time of year.

The "Boo" sounds like a pretty fun idea.

My neighbours may wonder what the <insert, or don't insert, swear here> I am doing at their houses.

They may, IF they see you, but if you are sly about it, they'll just see the "BOO!" and hopefully be tickled by it! :-)

My mum would wonder why I am going up to neighbours doors at night too.

That makes sense. I would recommend getting her help AND her permission!
