August is nearly over!! welcome september! :) come change my leaves now!!!
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Okay guys Its September and yesterday I couldn't contain myself, when I was lucky and they sent me home from work. I went to Crackle Barrel bought me another one of the Halloween pumpkin night light I will try and get a pic up and post pics this year. Then went to Menards picked up a Halloween CD and bought a Pumpkin spice candle that makes the house smell really good.
But the real reason I love Halloween, and the Fall of the year
1.Halloween
2.Nice warm/cool weather
3.The fall leaves
4.High School FB/ College FB/ Pro FB all starts up again
5. Planning and decorating for Halloween
6.Candy
7.Watching scary movies
8. Just a beautiful time of the year fall leaves green grass
9.Bowling season starts again
Those are in no particular order but I can't wait for the ideas lately I have been really busy Lawn, Bowling, Work. Last year Halloween wasn't very good for me but this year its on a Saturday and better times are ahead. I will try to post pics. :)
HALLOWEEN 2011 THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS!!!!

When it comes to holidays, Halloween is without a doubt my favorite, but I love Spring, Summer and Fall pretty much equaly because of the motorcycle. The only season I have a problem dealing with is Winter, especialy post-Christmas Winter. January is like a whole month of Mondays. February is a little better, but at least it's only 28 days long (29 days in leap years).

Like my mama always said,

''Y'all are wishing your life away!'' Time flies by so quickly. The kids were whining to me at school yesterday. "It's so hot, can we go in?" I reminded them of January when I heard,"It's so cold, can we go in?"

Enjoy each day for what it is. ( But go ahead and plan for next Halloween!)

Happy 1-year in here, Shanda (tomorrow)!
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

That is very wise advise shanda! I find myself guilty of wishing my life away on occasion (usually on Mondays :D ). My mom always gave me the same advice and I think it is very true.

Not really, Shanda. I do have a love, or even a minor obsession with Halloween, but I do enjoy all the seasons of the year, except for Post Chrsitmas Winter. I do a lot of celebrating of other holidays through out Spring, Summer and even Winter to a more limited extent. Summer is actualy my favorite season because of the motorcycle, so I don't "wish" it away, but I do love Halloween, and I often get the Halloween bug from time to time through out the whole year.
