Just spotted this in the headline news...
Seems it's become something of a custom in Bucharest for the bride to be abducted during the reception and the groom has to come up with a ransom to get her back. All in good fun.

Actualy it's still Summer until the 21st, but it's not too early to start putting up Fall themed decorations, and to start planning for Halloween.

Yeah, it's called "stealing the bride"..is that spam, guys? I'm really curious what my guy's gonna do at our wedding..he said he ain't gonna let his friends steal me, but they told me they'll take care of it. It's funny as hell, although the bride stays gone for a while..
Nevertheless..I already started my Fall routine, what about you guys?

Spam? No, that's not spam. Spam is when you post nonsense repeatedly and irritate the other users. Ask Spookymufu about it. His all-time favorite board member used to do it a lot.
I like the 'stealing the bride' idea. I wonder how many guys think years later that they wish they would have never got her back?
As for my routine? I'm falling way behind. Short of growing pumpkins I haven't done anything yet. I had planned on building a fancy stand for my carved pumpkins but there's no way I have the time. Right now, I'll be happy if I can finish my headless zombie costume and try it out at Halloween. I want to use it again for next year's zombie walk. Have you guys ever had a zombie walk near you? They're really fun.

Looking back on it, I wish we'd had such a custom here. If someone had taken my ex before I learned what a pain she was, I could have saved all those lawyer fees!

NeverMore, I'm a little behind on the Halloween preperations myself, all though I am going to start doing my Halloween tidying up so I can get the 'spookies' up by the 28th. I already put "The Blair Witch" projects into my Netflix Quey, and plan to screen it as my very first Halloween Season horror film.

Greetings!!
I am coming to Romania for Halloween this year and curious how many costume stores there are around the Bucharest/Barov area? I am working in Iraq and will not have availability to visit any stores before arriving in Romania. Any advice, information or links would be much appreciated
Cheers!!

Hey guys! Great news!
Just found out I am leaving for the UK at the end of the month. From what I know, Halloween decorations are already in stores, there, at the end of September.
I just realized I am going to buy the whole United Kingdom.
No, but here we don't have any fall decorations and anything, so when I get there I'll try to get back as much Halloween/Fall stuff as I can!

Not really..I mean people around here don't see what is there to celebrate..just another season..their main focus is getting the food for winter, and having to return from holidays to work/school..so nothing special here

Draculaura, even if you don't do too well on Halloween props, if you visit the U K, I would really love it if you visited the Tower of London and took some photos to share here on Halloween.com.
Otherwise, you have a great trip, as there are many haunted places in London alone, as there are through out all the British Isles.
