Way to go, MHooch! Those yucky gray aprons are so last season. :D I can just picture you wearing your Halloween lead!

Yay orange & black! Oh, that reminds me, if I *don't* really dress for work on Halloween, I *do* wear a black & orange Halloween barrette I got at Hallmark one year and my Nightmare Before Christmas earrings & necklace set. That's even if I'm going to court.

As a nice Jewish kid, I'm not sure I could get away with calling Halloween a religious holiday.

Have fun Larissa! I take half the day off and the following day as well. Like HH said, too much to do and can't concentrate on work anyway.

You guys are lucky!! I just scoot out as early as I can & race home (I hope there are no cops on this forum!) to get changed & get my tush out to the front porch to hand out candy!

Since my party is generally the Saturday before Halloween, everything else is already done. In fact, whatever's left from the party is the candy I hand out first. Better than me turning into 400 lbs!

I saw a nurse last season wearing Halloween scrubs, that was super cool! :) Don't know if she made those or what- I don't even know where you'd go to buy any scrubs..

I'm glad I don't have to worry about any costume stipulations or getting off work this year...by golly, we can just be as festive and lax as we want! (Hmmmm, I wonder if it's too early to get the kids started on their Halloween haunted castle and house kits? )

We have a store downtown that sells nothing but scrubs (we have a large medical community here). Bet they sell seasonal scrubs...do you need a special license to buy those??? They'd make nice lounge wear. :D I'm lucky to work in such a nice office - despite it being a government firm. Our boss totally supports any efforts to boost morale and as long as the work gets done he likes to see us dress up and kick up our heels a bit.

There are tons of options for Halloween scrubs online. I have to find out if my sis can wear scrubs! If she was still a tech, I'd get her some, but as a doc, she's really supposed to wear a nice shirt & white coat, I think. The other day, though, I did see her in scrubs. Hm.
