Oh, I have that one, too. Also have the early Phantom of the Opera, but on VHS. They really went in for grotesque monsters back then!

The most interesting thing to me is how they do the shadows thing in Nosferatu. That got picked up in the Oldman/Ryder Dracula. Also I think that may be where the idea of a vampire's burning up in the sunlight came from. That doesn't happen in the novel Dracula.

Oh my goodness, I went to the midnight Rocky Horror Picture Show a few times with friends, including my husband (then just my boyfriend), back in the day.

I love the Evil Dead! They should do a marathon with the Evil Dead 1&2 and Army of Darkness!

I LOVE Scream! :)

My local Zoo does events for Halloween too.

So does the Nashville Zoo (Grassmere). They call it "Ghouls at Grassmere."

I watched Scream a couple of weeks ago. Today my daughter and I are going to see a community theater production of Dracula.

Last night we watched Corpse Bride, which we had never seen before. We found it very amusing!

My sister and her boyfriend went and saw that over the weekend. She said she was pretty terrified and her boyfriend was ready to leave long before it was over

Sounds scary then!

I'm borrowing the first one from a friend. I'm yet to get around to watching it yet though. I've got so many others to watch. I'll get around to it though before the 'big day!'

Well I can honestly say that the first one scared me enough that I had to watch an hour of cartoons before I could go to bed  I think that's what kept me from catching the second and the third one.

I'll be sure to have Cartoon Network set up on my SKY box then, so that when I turn my Blu-ray player off it comes straight on with cartoons! When I finally get around to watching it that is!
