Seeing listeningeyes' awesome tattoo inspired me to go get a new one of my own. The skeleton bride and groom. I think I've mentioned in another post or two that I've wanted it. It's the old love is eternal idea. Got the black and grey done. I go back in two weeks for the color and background.

the tat looks great octoberchill. have you ever seen the killers video for their song "Bones" ? it reminds me of your tattoo. it was on their "sam's town" album (one of the greatest albums ever recorded)

LOL LOL OctoberChill that tattoo is SIC!!! Im glad my sleeve is an inspiration to you ,thats awesome!! Cant wait to see the color and stuff when you get it.I decided all black and gray for my sleeve,its so busy already that I think color will just take away from its creepiness.But your tattoo is much more clear that color will just make it stand out more so its a good choice.Go you!!

Thanks Yours looks great all black. I agree with you. I wouldn't change it. It's definitely creepy. You said you were doing a full sleeve right?

The only bad thing about it is that it makes my older tattoos look faded. Haha. I need to get them re-done. But yeah, I'll post more pics when I get the color. That'll take another 4 hours or so. It's tiring, as I'm sure you know. Be sure to post more pics as yours progresses.

Yep,full sleeve for me.On my forearm there will be a skeleton playing a violin with another skeleton dancing(bottom left in picture),and a bunch of like zombie looking skeletons that are being brought to life by the moon and the music.With more graveyard background behind all of them.Also I will have another tree with 3 owls in it.For me, my husband and our son.And the very last piece will be on my shoulder blade,its going to be the first ghost rider!! The old western dressed skeleton on the dead horse from the Ghost rider movie.And under the horse its going to say "punish the guilty" in old western letters.Its for my dad because he is a very old fashioned,do the right thing cowboy.Not the nice ones who are all sweet,but the ones that if he saw a bunch of guys hitting a woman he would take them all out,lol lol he is awesome so he deserves a tattoo,lol.I will put up some pictures.

Well I'm going to actually get a bunch lol I want a small halloween scene tattoo like a pumpkin with a black cat and the moon on the back of my shoulder just because I love halloween I'm also going to get a small stargazer lily for in memory of my aunt but have flames in the center because of the fire department over my heart, a small gemini sign with my initials on the back of my neck, and three little stars on each ankel

Those all sound cool! My wife has a stargazer lily on her shoulder that looks pretty awesome.

listeningeyes, I love the idea of the skeletons being brought to life from the moon and music. That's incredibly creative. I love seeing original tattoos. I can't wait to see how it comes out on skin.
