... in my kitchen. *swoon*

With the lights on:

... and glowing... I need to get that other blacklight up there.... or maybe buy another 4-foot one. =)

Note my two carved funkins... that are finally getting used instead of gathering dust!

... and a bonus... here's the shelves in the front entry:

That is so creative. Looks wonderfull both with lights on or off..

Great effect..

May luck be yours on Halloween.

YES YES and, YES AGAIN!!

I've fallen in love all over again with things that glow in the dark.

Have you seen the glow-in-the-dark article in the latest Martha Stewart?

I have all kinds of GITD paints and black light refective paints to go hog wild this year.

did you take the bottom photos with black light, or timed exposure?

Is this the "October" issue or does she have her special "Halloween" issue out? I've looked everywhere for the latter.... and didn't really look through the former because I was waiting for a Halloween issue.... that I'm still not sure ever came out.

The photos were taken with a black light and a digicam.-- you can see the blacklight at the bottom of the photos (it's that purple bar). =)

Sweet cemetery! You should do that outside somehow.
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

Yup, it's the October issue with the JOL clock face on the cover. I think they have combined the two this year.

The Oct issue is worth it just for the glow rooms, but it is packed with other Halloweenie goodness too.

I thought the purple was your wall glowing through the garland :)

You get what you pay for.

I just got back from Target and put my cheap black light together, plugged it in and, presto...no light.

That's what I get for saving $4 and not buying the name brand fixture!
